What sizes do you offer?
Our ready-to-wear collection is available in sizes S through XL (EU 46–54 depending on garment). Full size breakdowns are available on each product page. If you are between sizes or require specific adjustments, please contact us — we offer individual fitting corrections on all suits.
Are your products ready to ship, or made to order?
The pieces on this site are ready-to-wear — in stock and available for immediate dispatch. For fully bespoke garments tailored to your measurements, see our Made to Measure service.
What fabrics do you use?
ATELIER 23 sources cloth directly from Loro Piana, Zegna, and Scabal — our fabric partners. Suits are cut from Italian wool canvas; knitwear from SuperGelong merino and Cashwool by Zegna Baruffa. All fabric selections are made for longevity, not for seasonal relevance.
Where are your garments made?
Everything is produced at our own factory in Serra da Estrela, Portugal. Design and pattern work is done at our Lisbon atelier on Avenida da Liberdade. We do not use third-party manufacturers.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to all EU countries and selected destinations worldwide. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout. For destinations not listed at checkout, please contact us directly.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery within Portugal: 2–3 business days. EU delivery: 4–7 business days. International: 7–14 business days. All orders are dispatched from Lisbon and include a tracking number.
Can I visit the boutique in Lisbon?
Yes — our atelier is at Avenida da Liberdade 110, Lisbon. We welcome walk-ins and are happy to schedule appointments. If you are visiting Lisbon and would like a consultation or fitting, get in touch and we will arrange it.
Returns & Care
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unworn items in original condition with tags attached. Please contact us to initiate a return. Made-to-measure garments are non-returnable.
How do I care for my garments?
Suits and tailored pieces should be dry cleaned or steamed — never machine washed. Knitwear can be hand-washed in cold water with a gentle detergent and laid flat to dry. Store suits on shaped wooden hangers, preferably in a breathable garment bag. With proper care, our garments are designed to last a decade or more.
Made to Measure
What is the difference between ready-to-wear and made to measure?
Ready-to-wear garments are produced in standard sizes and available for immediate purchase. Made-to-measure starts with your individual measurements and personal consultation — the garment is then constructed specifically for your body and specifications. We offer individual fitting adjustments on ready-to-wear suits as a middle ground.
How long does a made-to-measure order take?
The standard timeline is 6–8 weeks from the first fitting to final delivery. Rush commissions may be accommodated — contact us to discuss your timeline.
Do I need to be in Lisbon for made to measure?
The initial consultation and second fitting are conducted at our Lisbon atelier. We do not currently offer remote made-to-measure services, but we can accommodate clients visiting Lisbon and work around travel schedules.
Other
Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes. All ATELIER 23 orders are dispatched in branded packaging. If you are purchasing a gift and require a specific note or presentation, please mention it in the order notes at checkout.
