Fabric Selection
We hold swatches from Loro Piana, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, and Zegna Baruffa. You feel the weight, the drape, the hand of each. We explain what each will look like in six months of regular wear, how it will hold a crease, how it will behave in Lisbon's climate.
Measurements
Twenty-plus measurements. Jacket length, chest, waist, seat, sleeve pitch, trouser rise, inseam. We note whether one shoulder sits lower, whether you have a forward lean, whether your posture changes when you stand versus when you sit. These details are what make a suit fit rather than merely approximate.
Production — 6 to 8 Weeks
Construction takes place at our workshop in Serra da Estrela, two hours from Lisbon. Full canvas throughout — the jacket's internal structure is built from layers of horsehair and linen stitched to the wool, not bonded with adhesive. This takes longer. It also means the jacket moulds to your specific body over time and does not separate or bubble at the chest as fused jackets do.
Fitting and Delivery
You return for a final fitting. We check the chest roll, the shoulder line, the trouser break. Adjustments are made on the spot. Delivery follows within a week. We can ship worldwide.
